Brevan graduated from Witwatersrand Technikon School of Optometry in 1986 and began working at Mullers Optometrists in 1987. He then continued his studies in Boston USA, graduating as a Doctor of Optometry from NEWENCO. Returning to South Africa, he joined the Claremont practice of Mullers Optometrists in 1990. He has also passed the United Kingdom College of Optometry examinations.
Brevan has particular interest in disease detection and treatment and has assisted in the presentation of the CAS course to other Optometrists around the country. He has extensive contact lens experience and enjoys the fitting of irregular corneas in keratoconus and post-surgery patients.
As a partner in Mullers Optometrists, Brevan is integrally involved in the running of all aspects of the business.
Armand qualified with a B.Optometry degree from the University of the Free State in 2012 with diagnostic privileges. He has worked in both public and private sectors over the past 7+ years and has been exposed to different clientele, working closely with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
He is also a member of Mensa’s high IQ society, is a highly ambitious extrovert who enjoys working with people and enjoys broadening his knowledge in the fields of contact lenses, binocular vision, pediatric vision as well as modern science.
